What I’m working on right now
I am sorry to have been away so long, but big things have been happening. Looped In Fiber Arts LLC, brick and mortar shop, had their open house in conjunction with Westminster After Dark shopping for Fall Fest Sept. 26 and 27. It was nothing short of amazing! It brought tears of joy to my eyes more than once, and a steady stream of excited goose bumps! The downtown business community support was beyond expectations and we feel like we are already part of a wonderful small business family! What made it extra special were the JK Fiber Arts YouTube supporters(truly, I did not expect that many!)that made the drive to show their support. Looped In’s first “unofficial” sale was to a wonderful YouTube follower who posed for a pic(since no one has a first dollar to frame these days). Looped In website is live, but under construction. On November 1, 2025 you will be able to purchase all of my inventory and so much, much more on our website. Wait until you see it!! For now, check out our class schedules and say hi! What’s on the Wheel
JK Fiber Arts delivers high quality hand dyed and blended fibers and art batts as well as beautifully handspun yarns and art yarns for fiber artists.
JK Fiber Arts started as two best friends (Judi and Kirsten) sharing their passion for all things fiber! We have over 50 years of fiber experience between us. In 2022, we wanted to share our love of fiber and our experience to help others in their fiber arts journey in a fun and casual atmosphere. We started our YouTube Channel in May 2022 with tutorials for how to spin yarn, scour and dye sheep and alpaca fleece, drum card and comb fibers, and how to create art batts for spinning, weaving and felting. Our plan was to build up a following on social media then open an online shop to sell custom art batts, dyed top and hand-spun yarn. Sadly, Judi was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in June 2022 and passed in June 2023. Throughout her fight, I continued creating YouTube tutorials anticipating her return. I still have a passion for all things fiber art and I am ready for the next step in our journey, which is now my journey. I create stunning, beautiful, and fun fibers that will knock your wooly socks off!
